We aim to offer the best available family medical care from a modern, purpose-built practice. We have a comprehensive range of medical facilities designed to give you the individual attention you need. The practice team consists of the following.
Qualified Registered Nurses who have completed extended training at degree level to enable them to see and treat patients autonomously.
Practice nurses provide general nursing services and health promotion advice by appointment between 8.00am and 6.00pm. In addition, each nurse has special areas of expertise and responsibility: family planning (including emergency contraception), smoking cessation, as well as the management of chronic disease such as asthma, diabetes, COPD and coronary heart disease.
Healthcare Assistants have had specific training in certain treatment room duties, we also have our own Phlebotomist. A phlebotomist provides blood sampling and urinalysis clinics from 8.00am, and assists with medical examinations and health promotion activity.
